- If the Evolute Monster gets attached to an Xyz Monster by card effects.
- If the Evolute Monster gets equipped to a monster by card effects.
- If a card or an effect that causes an Evolute Monster to be Sent to the Graveyard (Such as Destruction, Tributing, paying a cost..) Banished, or returned to the Extra Deck.
- Tributed, or Used as a Fusion, Link, or other Evolute Materials for a Summon.
Contrast to the manual Disjoint, the Conjointed monster in question will not be Special Summoned (or Re-Evolute Summoned in case of Conjoint Evolute Monsters), and thus it is sent to the Graveyard instead.
- Nomi monsters and/or monsters that cannot be Special Summoned cannot be Special Summoned.
- Floodgate Effects that prevent Special Summoning will cause the Disjointed monster to be sent to the Graveyard.
