Introduction

Goblin Labyrinth is an Pendulum Ritual archetype based on the inhabitants of a vast labyrinth hidden in an underground world. In addition to the various flora and fauna which can be found in the "Goblin Labyrinth", there are also several sub-series in the archetype. They are:

Goblins: Small and cunning, the Goblins of the labyrinth like to sing and dance, but also have an odd sense of humor and can be quite deadly when threatened. Males and females look alike, and they reproduce via birthing sacks (a cross between an egg and a cocoon).

Hobgoblins: Tall and superficially human-like, they are just as quirky, and just as deadly, as their smaller kinfolk. They all look male, but are actually hermaphrodites that reproduce via birthing sacks (though, those that identify as female can alter their appearance with magic if they wish).

Golems: Constructs made of stone or other materials and animated by magic, they were created by the Goblins and Hobgoblins to better protect the labyrinth.

Guardians: Golems created by advanced magic rituals, they are the ultimate defenders of the labyrinth.

Gobtech: Machines made by the Goblins and Hobgoblins, they range from tanks to colossal battle robots.

Playstyle

The primary focus of the Deck is to use the various Pendulum Ritual monsters, ether by Ritual Summoning them or by using their Pendulum Effects to support the Deck's Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz monsters.

Trivia

Many of the cards in this archetype are based on Jim Henson's Labyrinth, while others are based on the various cards used by the Paradox Brothers.
